As exposure in the American market grows, the creators of Calmer Sutra came to Lousch looking for a revitalization of their design language including logo, packaging, website, and digital strategy. These new designs not only tell the unique story of Calmer Sutra, but also position the brand as a standout in the market.
Calmer Sutra’s blend of East-Indian spices inspired Lousch to create a series of hand-drawn mandalas that serve as a symbol of calm and mediation and act as the basis for a new graphic system. Each mandala represents a different flavor of tea and includes illustrations of ingredients such as as nutmeg seeds, rose petals, and lavender buds. Combined with a bold color palette and contemporary fonts, the overall effect conveys an old world ritual for the modern day calm seeker. Applications included:
